The Solid Gun Drill is a premium deep hole drilling tool designed for precision and durability in creating holes with extreme depth-to-diameter ratios, typically up to 150:1. Constructed from a single piece of high-speed steel (HSS) or solid carbide, this drill eliminates the risk of tip detachment, offering superior structural integrity and vibration damping compared to brazed or welded alternatives. Its streamlined design features a single flute for unobstructed chip evacuation and an internal coolant channel that delivers high-pressure fluid directly to the cutting zone, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and tool life in demanding materials.  


Engineered for both through-holes and blind holes, the Solid Gun Drill excels in maintaining straightness (≤0.15mm/m deviation) and surface finish (Ra ≤ 1.6μm) across a range of applications, from automotive components to aerospace structures.
